Goodwill Southern California’s priority is helping people in need find jobs. Our social enterprise prepares and places those with the greatest barriers to employment including veterans, homeless, individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, the formerly incarcerated, and many more.
You’re probably wondering where a car donation plays into all this. Car donations help fund our programs in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. The best part is – donating a car is easy!
How donating a car to Goodwill Southern California works
• Call 800-898-8285 or submit the online vehicle donation form.
• Schedule a pickup of your car from anywhere in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties, or anywhere in the United States. Our Vehicle Donation Support Team is there every step of the way to offer support and assistance!

What are the benefits of donating my vehicle to Goodwill Southern California?
• Donating is easy and the pick-up is free.

Do you accept junk/salvage titles?
• Yes, however, salvage titles are different from junk titles. Salvage titles have been inspected and approved to be back on the road. A junk title is for a non-operational vehicle, usually sold for parts. Please give us a call at 800-898-8285 to find out if we can accept your salvage title.
Does my car have to be registered?
• Current registration is not required in the state of California. If you are wanting to donate to Goodwill Southern California, but don’t live in California, give us a call at 800-898-8285. We will confirm the state requirements for you. Each Vehicle Donor Service Representative is equipped with a 50-state guide for the steps necessary in each state and will advise you of these steps during the donation process.
